Biofilm
Biofilms are permanently present in water pipes and fittings and are the perfect nutrient base for pathogenic substances. Colonies of exo- and endotoxins constantly attack the health of animals. Production then stagnates and declines. Regular cleaning only helps for a while. The biofilms are constantly re-forming. A vicious circle.
